TV Host,7th wife file for divorce
TV host Larry King has filed for divorces from his seventh wife, court filling shoow.
The 76-year-old host of CNN’s Larry King Live filed Wednesday to end the couple’s nearly 13-year marriage, citing “irreconciliable differences””. He married Shawn Shout wick King in a hospital room in clear clogged blood vessel.
The couple have two sons, ages 11 and 9. King is seeking joint custody of the boys. He is also asking a court not to award Shouthwick-King, 50,any spoual support.
“His major concern is the welfare of his children,” said Howart Rubenstein, a spokesman for King.






He said Shoutwick-King filed for divorce moments after King’s filing. Her filing was not immediately available.
Rubenstein said the talk-show host would not comment further on the divorce.
Dennis Wasser, an attorney for King, told Reuters that the broadcaster wants to “keep this divorce amicable”.

King’s nightly news and interview show has been a CNN mainstay for nearly 25 years.
He and Southwick-King started house-hunting in California shortly after their marriage and lived in Beverly Hills. He is a Los Angeles Dodgers season ticket holder and announced the start of the team’s home opener to fasn Tuesday.
King has three children from previous relationships.
King has been married to seven different women, but this is his eight divorce, because he remarried one of this former spouses and then divrced her again.
On his show Larry King Live on CNN, he interviews political figures and celebrities, and dresses in suspenders that have become his personal trademark. He often allows viewers to call in with questions for guests.
King was weeking joint custody of their children, while Shouthwick was seeking primary custody.
